What is the prize?
Contest running on the following days and times: from 9:00 PM – 11 PM on Friday, November 25,2022, 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM on Thursday, December 8, 2022; from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM on Saturday, December 10, 2022; and from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM on Sunday, December 11, 2022.
When you donate you’ll be entered into the contest to win one pair of tickets to see Josh Groban in Sweeney Todd on Broadway at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in NYC on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at 3pm (Retail value $258 for the pair of tickets.)
How am I entered to win? Where can I enter to win?
Enter online with a donation at WHYY.org/TV12. You can also enter by making a donation by phone at 1-888-345-9499. Eligible entrants must provide their name, address, email address and phone number as part of their donation or by phone (215-351-0511) for free entry. Incomplete entries will not be eligible to win.
What are the exact details?
Make a donation on the following days and times: Friday, November 25th,2022 (starting at 9 PM and ending at 11 PM); Thursday, December 8, 2022 (starting at 7:30 PM and ending at 9:30 PM); Saturday, December 10, 2022 (starting at 9:30 AM and ending at 11:30 AM); and Sunday, December 11 (starting at 7:00 AM and ending 9:00 AM) and be entered to win one pair of tickets to see Sweeny Todd at the at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre on Broadway on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at 3pm. The winner will get to choose tickets in the Orchestra (retail value $268) or the Front Mezzanine (retail value $458). One entry per household. You can donate online at WHYY.org/TV12.
Do I need to make a gift to enter?
No, but we hope you will enter by donating online at WHYY.org/TV12. If you prefer not to make a donation, simply call Member and Audience Services at 215-351-0511 and leave a message between 9PM to 11PM on Friday, November 25, 2022; 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM on Thursday, December 8, 2022; 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM on Saturday, December 10, 2022; or 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM on Sunday, December 11, 2022.
How many entries are permitted per person?
One entry per household is allowed. Donate online at WHYY.org/TV12 or donate by phone at 1-888-345-9499 to be automatically entered.
How many total entries will be allowed? What the odds of winning?
The odds of winning one or more prizes will depend on the number of entrants. We will not set a limit on the total number of entries allowed.
How will the winner be selected?
The winner will be selected by random on Friday, December 16, 2022. We will notify the winner directly. Winners need not be present to win.
How will the winner be notified?
WHYY will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner using information provided on the winning entry form. This contact will be phone and/or email. If a winner does not contact WHYY within 10 business days after the first initial contact, WHYY will send notification through certified mail. After an additional 10 business days, WHYY may, at its option, award another person the prize. WHYY will not award a prize if the winner (a) was ineligible to participate, (b) provided materially false or misleading information to WHYY, or (c) if participating or receiving a prize is prohibited with respect to such person pursuant to these Rules or Applicable Law.

If I win, will I be required to pay any taxes based on the value of the prize?
Payment of all federal, state and local taxes is the sole responsibility of the winner.
Are WHYY Sustainers automatically entered?
WHYY Sustainers are not automatically entered to win. They may enter by making an additional donation or upgrading their monthly donation level at WHYY.org/TV12 or calling member services to enter without donating.
Who is eligible to enter?
To be eligible to enter, you must (a) be at least 18 years old at the time of purchase, (b) be a U.S. resident physically residing in the United States or District of Columbia, and (c) not be precluded by Applicable Law from holding participating. Enter online by donating at WHYY.org/TV12.
WHYY employees, board members and their households may not enter and are not eligible to win a prize.
