Help a child in need experience live theater

WHYY provides children in the Delaware Valley the resources they need to thrive and grow. From a 24 hour kids program service to media labs at WHYY and in schools throughout Philadelphia, WHYY entertains and educates children of all ages.
Right now WHYY is taking this commitment one step further.
Between Saturday, March 3rd and Sunday, March 18, for every 12 pledges WHYY receives, WHYY will provide a ticket for a live play at the Arden Theater Company to a child who may not normally have access to theater, through the Arden for All initiative.
Arden for All (AFA) is the Arden’s elementary arts education program. The program serves third through fifth grade classrooms in economically disadvantaged schools across the Philadelphia region, targeting student populations most affected by poverty, crime, unemployment, and high dropout rates. AFA offers students in partner classrooms full access to Children’s Theatre productions on stage at the Arden, enhanced by in-classroom lessons taught by Arden Teaching Artists, connecting the theatre experience to the state’s Core Curriculum.
Show your support right now to WHYY and your pledge will go even further, not only supporting this service, but also helping a child in our community have an up close experience with live theater.
