Mary Cummings-Jordan

Mary Cummings-Jordan is the host of the “Radio Times Regional Roundup,” a live, weekly interview show focusing on local stories that run the gamut from late-breaking news to “people profiles” to sports.

Mary joined WHYY in 2005 as a news anchor and host, and has also done feature reporting and special event coverage for the station, including hosting and co-producing “Ancient Faith, Modern Lives” during Pope Francis’ visit to Philadelphia in 2015, and special coverage of the Democratic National Convention in 2016.

A veteran broadcast journalist, she worked at a number of Philadelphia and New Jersey radio and television stations before landing at her public radio home.

She’s also a sports enthusiast, long-time runner (props to Broad Street!), and animal lover who’s currently residing with some great canine and feline companions, including a polydactyl cat named Nona.
