Listen 00:48:45

Guests: Dave Davies, Bruce Ledewitz, Deborah Weinstein, and Nina Ahmad

The fallout from Pennsylvania’s ‘Porngate’ scandal continues. It all began when Pennsylvania’s controversial Attorney General Kathleen Kane released emails sent between state employees – including judges, prosecutors, and others – that were pornographic in nature or contained racist, misogynistic, or other types of bigoted content. Since then there have been calls for the resignations of some of those involved. Today on Radio Times we’ll unravel the controversy and talk about what it means for the Commonwealth, Kane, and other high-profile Pennsylvanians. We’ll get up-to date reporting from NewsWorks/WHYY’s DAVE DAVIES. Then we’ll hear from BRUCE LEDEWITZ of Duquesne University School of Law and DEBORAH WEINSTEIN, founder and president of The Weinstein Firm and expert on employment law. We’ll also hear from NINA AHMAD of Philadelphia-NOW, the local chapter of the National Organization for Women, on her organization’s calls for the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office to respond to the racist and misogynistic emails sent by a few prosecutors in his office.
