Ballot Talks: the power of money, endorsements, and superdelegates in the presidential race

February 25, 2016

Guests: Ken Vogel, Stephen Medvic, and Jordan Ragusa

Today on Ballot Talks, our weekly conversation on all things politics and elections-related, we’ll have a round robin of guests joining us to discuss three of the traditionally most important pieces of the presidential race: money, endorsements, and superdelegates. We’ll kickoff the hour with KEN VOGEL of POLITICO on campaign and super PAC spending in the 2016 election. Then we’ll hear from STEPHEN MEDVIC of Franklin & Marshall College about the superdelegates on the Democratic side of the race: their history, how they work, and their significance. We’ll round out the hour discussing the power of endorsements with JORDAN RAGUSA, an assistant professor of political science at the College of Charleston.
