Wilmington Police announce road closures for Beau Biden funeral services

Motorists should expect delays and traffic on Friday morning with street closures beginning at 6AM.
The Wilmington Police Department issued several street closures and parking restrictions for the funeral services of Beau Biden; which will be in effect from Friday, June 5, 2015 at 6AM through Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 2PM.
The following streets will be closed to vehicular traffic:
DuPont Street from Pennsylvania Avenue to Howland Street
10th Street from Clayton Street to Union Street
Howland Street from DuPont Street to Lincoln Street
Scott Street from 8th Street to 11th Street
There will be no parking on the following streets:
Union Street from Pennsylvania Avenue to 9th Street
Lincoln Street from Pennsylvania Avenue to 9th Street
Scott Street from Howland Street to 10th Street
DuPont Street from Howland to Pennsylvania Avenue
9th Street from Union Street to DuPont Street
Additional temporary closures will occur during the funeral services and as the motorcade travels through the city.
