Four of the six Democratic mayoral candidates made their pitches to more than 100 people who attended Wednesday night’s mayoral forum at Mt. Airy’s Lutheran Theological Seminary.

Amid hectic schedules that saw candidates coming and going during the event — not in attendance were Lynne Abraham and Milton Street — Jim Kenney discussed “his association with unions, his Inquirer endorsement snub, and receiving dark money from Local 98’s Johnny Doc,” according to NewsWorks‘ Northwest Philadelphia team.

He also talked about the attack ad that opponent Anthony Hardy Williams recently launched.

“He shouldn’t cry over spilled milk because somebody said a bad word about him,” responded Williams after Kenney departed the event. “Those words are true.”
