Weavers Way ‘Pet A Palooza’ draws dog, cats, humans (and even horses) to Mt. Airy [gallery]

On Saturday, Weavers Way Coop sponsored its fourth annual “Pet A Palooza” street fair in Mt. Airy, drawing four-legged friends and their masters out in the warm, sunny afternoon.

Booths near Carpenter Lane and Greene Street offered organic treats, bath and grooming products and, among other things, adoption opportunities.

Local bands serenaded the crowds with songs like “Who Let The Dogs Out.” The Weavers Way Grill served up food for the humans.

Weavers Way communications manager Mary Sweeten Weavers Way Coop — proud owner of a dog, cat and a fish — explained what the event meant to the co-op.
