Walking for a cause: Walk for the Wounded raises money for veterans in Ocean City

The Ocean City Boardwalk was filled with walkers Saturday, but it was anything but an ordinary stroll on the Jersey shore.

On this day, hundreds of people were taking part in the third annual Walk for the Wounded.

The Press of Atlantic City reports this year’s event was the biggest to date. Organizers say they raised $25,000 after the first walk and $42,000 after the second.
