Airy’s Lovett Park, a Germantown Friends School second grader’s anti-littering art installation, a clean-up at the shuttered Germantown High School, the opening of a new playground at McDevitt Recreation Center in East Falls, the naming of a MLK High School sophomore as the Public League championship game’s MVP, plans for a Smokin’ Joe Frazier statue, Northwest Philadelphia students in the annual Penn Relays, onlookers as the Queen Lane Apartments fall and now Governor-elect Tom Wolf getting a haircut on Election Day.
