I’ve been drawing on the gun issue for as long as I’ve been drawing political cartoons. It appears to be one of those issues that will not go away, will not be solved, even as the bodies pile up to the tune of 30,000 per year or so.
Perhaps the NRA’s desperate tactic of publicizing an enemies list marks a turning point, as more and more of the public come to realize that the NRA’s absolutist position mocks common sense as well as the dead.
