Thousands rally on Facebook to send South Jersey teen to the prom with Taylor Swift
Sterling High School Senior Kevin McGuire has a prom coming up, and his sister is setting high standards for his date.
The South Jersey 18-year-old was diagnosed with leukemia five years ago and recently relapsed.
So his sister Victoria has taken to Facebook and Twitter to ask country music star Taylor Swift to the prom on Kevin’s behalf.
Thousands of people are now supporting the effort to link the teen with Swift for the night, which also happens to be his birthday. No word yet from Swift — not publicly, anyway.
