Thieves tear cash register from Northeast Wawa
Well this is an interesting trend. We reported yeaterday about thieves in Edison, N.J., who stole a couple cash registers from a convenience store when the ATM proved too formidable an opponent.
Some local thieves took a cue.
Three suspects entered a Wawa in the Northeast early this morning, demanded money and then ripped out a cash register. According to a report from CBS3, two Good Samaritans and a police officer pursued the suspects, and were able to catch one and recover the register.
Seems like a cash register would make for a cumbersome getaway.
