Terminally ill woman takes one last walk on the beach thanks to police officer [video]

A Burlington County woman diagnosed last December with terminal leukemia took one last walk on the beach thanks to a Ship Bottom police officer.

Patricia Kelly’s family recently reached out to the Ship Bottom Police Department to request assistance to make the wish come to fruition.

Last weekend, Ofc. Ronald Holloway took Kelly, 78, for a ride on the beach in his department cruiser and helped her walk to the ocean.

“You will all hold a very special place in our hearts for giving Pat her final ride on the Ship Bottom beach, a place near and dear to her,” a family member wrote on the department’s Facebook page.
