Pa. police: 11 Killed, 241 Injured in July 4 crashes

Pennsylvania State Police report that there were 11 deaths and 241 injuries during the July 4th holiday driving period — from July 3 to 7.

State troopers investigated a total of 811 crashes, 67 of which were alcohol related, and four of those resulted in fatalities. 

Police also arrested 411 people for driving under the influence, issued 8,986 speeding citations and cited 886 motorists for failing to wear seat belts.
