St. Kevin’s parishioners rally to prevent closing

Ahead of a meeting tonight with the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, parishioners of St. Kevin’s in Delaware County will rally this afternoon to save the school.

At tonight’s meeting, the diocese is expected to announce the school’s closing, as it did earlier this week for St. Philomena in Lansdowne and Our Lady of Charity in Brookhaven.

The Delaware County Times reports school supporters will rally at 2 p.m. outside the Springfield parish.
