Springtime sprouts in Chestnut Hill at annual home and garden show [photos]

The annual Chestnut Hill Home & Garden Festival took place on Sunday. Germantown Avenue was brimming with activity as local residents came out to check out the latest trends in home and gardening.

There were plenty of activies to keep kids busy, too. From facepainting to yoga for children and amusement rides, there was a range of things to do for the whole family.

Vendors sold seedlings, flowers, sculptures, hanging baskets and much more. Craft vendors sold handmade quilts, jewelry and other collectibles.
