Shooting at Lonnie Young Rec. Center in Germantown leaves one hospitalized
Police are looking for suspects wanted for a shooting in East Germantown.
Just after midnight on Tuesday the complainant, a 24-year-old male was walking through Lonnie Young Recreation Center located at 1100 East Chelten Ave. when he was suddenly approached by two unknown males who began chasing him.
As the complainant was being chased, he dropped an unknown item which one of the suspects picked up while the complainant was shot by one of the suspects. Both suspects then fled splitting in separate directions. The complainant was transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center where he was treated for a gunshot wound to his lower back.
