Video: Wissahickon Creek rages after Irene
The normally calm Wissahickon Creek is raging on at the intersection of Ridge Avenue and Kelly Drive in East Falls in the wake of Hurricane Irene.
The Creek runs underneath Ridge Avenue and meets the Schuylkill near the Philadelphia Canoe Club, which is already facing severe flood damage.
Police blocked off a small section of the road and onlookers waited by the wall to get splashed by the choppy waters.
