Puppies get loose in Pennsylvania Turnpike crash

Police had to round up some puppies after the van that was transporting them hit a truck on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Montgomery County.

The crash happened around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday in the eastbound lanes between Willow Grove and Bensalem.

Police tell KYW-TV the impact caused several of the dogs to get out of their cages.

The eastbound lanes were closed while authorities rounded up the puppies.
