Princeton HS athletes run 135 miles for Sandy fundraiser

Princeton High School students Julie Bond and Paige Metzheiser are running for a cause–135 miles to be exact.

The two athletes have joined together with Alliance for a Living Ocean to raise money to rebuild the dunes at the shore after Hurricane Sandy. The two girls, along with four other teammates, began their run Sunday in Sandy Hook and will end next week in Cape May. They plan to run 15 miles a day and for the run to last 10 days.

They are hoping to raise $5,000 and have been asking for donations from local businesses and on Facebook.
