West Oak Lane 7-Eleven robbed at gunpoint early Thursday [Video]

Just after 3 a.m. Thursday, two men robbed the 7-Eleven at 78th and Ogontz avenues of $300 and several packs of cigarettes at gunpoint, police said.

One suspect in the West Oak Lane robbery pulled a large revolver on the cashier while the other jumped over the counter and grabbed the cash and smokes before running away north on Ogontz Avenue toward Cheltenham.

Police described the gunman as being about 6-feet tall and 20 years old with a medium build. He wore a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans, black boots and had a red bandana covering his face.

The second suspect was roughly the same height and age, but was thin and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with black writing and a logo on the front, dark pants and white and grey New Balance sneakers.
