Police release video of Cedarbrook dollar-store robbery

Philadelphia Police are seeking a man who allegedly robbed Zeng’s 99-Cent Store in Cedarbrook at gunpoint on Saturday afternoon.

According to investigators, the man in his late teens or early twenties entered the store, located at 7417 Stenton Ave., just after 5 p.m. and “acted as if he were shopping.”

After several minutes, the man pointed a gun at an employee and demanded money, police said. He then ran off down an alley along the 1300 block of E. Johnson St. with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The alleged gunman is described as roughly 5-feet 8-inches tall and was wearing a white T-shirt, light-colored blue jeans and white sneakers.
