Police prevent attempt to set up second Occupy Allentown camp

    The Morning Call in Allentown reports police have stopped an attempt by Occupy Allentown demonstrators to set up a  second camp this week.

    According to the report, police chased two protesters from a West End traffic island Friday night.

    The Morning Call says Occupy Allentown protesters have established a camp at Seventh and Hamilton streets since October 3, but on Tuesday, the group announced it wanted to set up a camp at Hamilton and Ott by Saturday.
