Police: Gunfire leaves 3 dead, 2 injured in Philadelphia

Investigators say four overnight shootings in Philadelphia have left three people dead and two wounded.

The gunfire started at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday in Fairhill. Police say a man was shot twice in the head after another man got into an argument with him. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.

The second shooting happened two hours later in north Philadelphia. Authorities say a man was fatally shot in his head and back.

About 10 minutes later, a 15-year-old boy suffered a graze wound to the arm a few blocks away. Investigators say the two shootings may be related because of their proximity.
