Police: Burglar swipes $17K in electronics from Philly school

Police are looking for the burglar who broke into a west Philadelphia school and made off with more than $17,000 in electronics.

Authorities say it happened sometime late Wednesday at Our Mother of Sorrows/Saint Ignatius of Loyola.

Police believe the burglar cut a lock to break into the building. Investigators say 30 iPads, three laptops and two MacBook Pros were taken from the elementary school.

There’s no word on any suspects.
