Police: At least four Philadelphia officers injured by vehicle

Police say four to six Philadelphia officers injured by a vehicle in north Philadelphia are all in stable condition. A suspect was later shot by police and critically injured at another location.

A police spokeswoman said two officers were taken to Einstein Medical Center afterward. The extent of their injuries was unclear, as was the extent of injuries to the others.

Police said a male suspect was shot in the chest at another location and drove away, but was taken into custody around the corner and taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The spokeswoman said she didn’t immediately have any information about the circumstances that led up to the confrontation.
