Philly school senior set to graduate with perfect attendance

A Philadelphia high school senior is set to graduate with perfect attendance for 13 years.

WPVI-TV reports James Dudley has never missed a day of school, even in kindergarten.

The Rev. James Dalton, principal of Father Judge High School, has confirmed Dudley’s attendance record and says the student has had no conduct issues during his time at the all-boys Catholic high school.

The principal says a student graduates with perfect attendance about once a decade. He says he thinks it “says more about the parents, who make sure he gets out the door each day and gets to school.”
