Philly police searching for shooting suspect who fled in SUV
Police are looking for a suspect in a fatal South Philadelphia shooting.
Investigators say the suspect fled in an SUV after opening fire on 38-year-old Michael Walsh around 4:30 p.m. Thursday in the city’s Melrose section.
Walsh was pronounced dead a short time later at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Police say Walsh was sitting on a porch when he and the suspect got into an argument. Police say it wasn’t his house.
No arrests have been made. The investigation is continuing.
