Pa. employee fatally stabbed blocks from capitol

    Police say a state employee was stabbed to death in an apparent robbery a half-mile from the Pennsylvania capitol.

    Harrisburg police tell PennLive a jogger found Richard McQuown’s body Saturday morning near a park along the Susquehanna River.

    There were no keys or identification.

    Police say McQuown was last seen with friends Friday night at a Harrisburg bar. They say he died from the effects of the stabbing and apparent hypothermia.
