Obama at K’NEX in Hatfield, Redd talks Camden police layoffs

    Tom MacDonald has a busy day ahead of him covering a Philly Council hearing on proposed casinos and Camden Mayor Dana Redd’s press conference about police layoffs.

    Lizz Fiedler and Kim Paynter are already in Hatfield where President Barack Obama is going to speak at K’NEX.Emma Jacobs is looking into what economic effect sequestration would have on Pennsylvania. For Monday, she’ll talks to some former Wharton students who are helping Wharton grads help current Wharton students. . . if you can follow that.

    Peter Crimmins and Emma Lee are teaming up to cover family night with the Philadelphia Orchestra. They’ll be talking to parents and kids who are experiencing the orchestra for the first time. And next week, Peter will have a story on reporting during the Revolutionary War.

    Maiken Scott will have the latest on reforms to Pennsylvania’s juvenile justice system, as well as a story on the most-visited website for children’s health questions.
