Nutter to endorse Johnson for 2nd District Council
Mayor Michael Nutter is expected to endorse Pa. State Rep. Kenyatta Johnson this afternoon for Philadelphia’s 2nd District Council seat.
The announcement is set for 3:45 p.m., and comes after news that former 2nd District candidate Damon Roberts has withdrawn from the race and will support Johnson. The seat is being vacated by Council President Anna Verna.
