N.J. native to star on Survivor: Philippines

As CBS’ hit television show Survivor enters its 25th season, an area native makes her debut.

Sarah Dawson “first fell in love” with the TV show five years ago, reports NJ.com. The 28-year-old Bridgeton, New Jersey native made her prime time premier last Wednesday. She watched from a movie theatre in Silver Spring, Maryland where she currently lives.

Her father, Bridgeton Mayor Albert Kelly made the trip down to watch with her.

    According to NJ.com:

Dawson prepared for the show “by eating the ants that infested her kitchen and deliberately gained 12 pounds by eating burritos at Chipotle.” And though she missed the burritos while living on the Philippines’ island, “she loved every moment of the game.”

“Dawson plans on coming back to Bridgeton to talk to kids about her time on the reality show and to give them some perspective on going from Bridgeton to national television.
