Newark police are investigating three harassment incidents, two of which involved unlawful sexual contact, they say could be related.

Police say the first incident happened about 10 p.m. on Friday when a 19-year-old female University of Delaware student reported that she was grabbed on the buttocks as she was walking down the street. The second incident occurred about 30 minutes later, when the same thing happened to a 20-year-old student. At about 11:30, a third incident occurred when two students, a 20- and 21-year-old, were followed by a man until one of the victims called the police.

The incidents could be related, police say. They are searching for a suspect believed to be between 20-30 years old, five-foot seven-inches with a thin build and a beard.
