New Jersey Transit has extra trains for revelers

New Jersey Transit is running extra trains to help New Year’s revelers get to and from their parties.

The train service has extra trains Wednesday into New York City between 10 a.m. and noon Wednesday and additional New Jersey-bound trains in the evening.

The rail service will also delay trains scheduled to depart New York just before and just after midnight to accommodate people returning from festivities.

There are also longer hours or additional trains on other lines, including the Hudson-Bergen and River Line light rails.
