Mullica Hill, NJ woman critically injured in hit-in-run near Temple University

A Temple University student from Mullica Hill, N.J., has been critically injured in a hit-and-run crash near the North Philadelphia campus.

Police say a silver Mitsubishi sedan struck 22-year-old Rachel Hall as she rode a mountain bike around 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Police recovered the vehicle but have not found the driver or two other people they say were in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

Hall remains in critical condition at Temple University Hospital.

Police say she suffered severe head trauma and has a compound fracture to her left leg.

Chief Inspector Scott Small says she was unconscious when police and paramedics arrived.

The senior criminal justice major is scheduled to graduate May 8. She also played goalkeeper on the university’s women’s lacrosse team.
