Color Me Obssessed: A Film About The Replacements

The potentially true story of the last best band, The Replacements. A film by Gorman Bechard. For some aging music fans and kids with a passion for musical history, The Replacements are rock and roll defined. This Minneapolis quartet took a teenage-punk attitude, threw it in a blender with classic and pop rock, and then poured it into a Middle American pint glass. Theatre N at Nemours, April 5th, 7 P.M.

Celtic Crossings Featuring The Brandywine Harps

In this special concert the nationally recognized Celtic harp orchestra will feature music from Ireland and Scotland. Director Janet Witman, a U.S. National Scottish Harp Champion, will lead the sixteen harp orchestra, singers and special guests on an exciting musical journey that is not to be missed! Smyrna Opera House, March 31, 2012 @ 7:30 pm

Vasermil

In the drama “Vasermil”, emerging filmmaker Mushon Salmona reveals the racial and economic dynamics of Israeli society. This is no ordinary teens-playing-sports-and-overcoming-adversity movie as the film takes a raw look at the no-future world of three teenagers who live in the same tough neighborhood and who are brought together on a mission to reinvigorate their local football club. Movies at Midway, April 4th, 7 P.M.
