Man injured, struck by two cars on City Avenue in Wynnefield

    A 62-year-old man was injured at around midnight last night when he was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross City Line Avenue just south of Belmont.

    According to ABC6, the driver of a dark colored vehicle traveling northbound struck the man and fled the scene. The impact of the accident threw the victim into the path of a second vehicle – a Lexus also traveling northbound.

    The driver of the Lexus remained on the scene.

    The victim was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where is reported to be in stable condition.
