Lindenwold PATCO train station parking lot full

PATCO says its Lindenwold train station parking lot is full, so people using the rail line to see Pope Francis in Philadelphia should only get dropped off at the station.

The agency says the Lindenwold lot is full as of 2 p.m. Saturday. Its trains are running at 10-minute intervals Saturday from each of its four open New Jersey stations to the papal visit in Philadelphia.

The agency had been operating express trains from each station heading to Philadelphia.

As of 11 a.m., it switched to local trains stopping at the Lindenwold, Woodcrest, Ferry Avenue and Broadway stations before arriving at the 9/10 Locust station in Philadelphia.

PATCO says it made the adjustment in response to relatively low demand, and can adjust service levels again should the demand increase.
