Lane due in court for CBS deposition
She’s baa-ack. Former CBS3 anchor Alycia Lane is back in Philadelphia today and is due in court for deposition. Lane is pursuing a civic lawsuit against the station following her termination in early 2008.
The Daily News reports CBS Broadcasting wants to dismiss the suit, and has asked that Lane have a mental health evaluation and hand over her mental health records. Lane thinks the request is bogus, saying her only related medical issues are the depression and emotional distress resulting in the actions of the station and former co-anchor Larry Mendte, who was also fired and later pleaded guilty to hacking into Lane’s email account.
Today’s deposition is scheduled at an undisclosed location.
