Knitters take over Citizens Bank Park for annual ‘Stitch n Pitch’ Phillies game

Lots of people will be carrying needles into Citizens Bank Park tonight.

The 7:05 game against the Mets is the Phillies’ annual “Stitch n’ Pitch” event, a collaboration with the National NeedleArts Association.
Knitting enthusiasts are expected to show up and stitch their way through the game in the Terrace Deck seats, and fans can visit the ChemoClothes table to donate handmade items.

And even if knitting isn’t your thing, admit it — there’s not much else to watch at Phillies game these days, anyway.
