‘Jersey Shore’ cast looks ahead as ending nears

“Jersey Shore’s” sixth and final season debuts tonight on MTV.

But don’t remind the show’s cast. They’re not quite ready for their 15 minutes of fame to end.

According to castmate Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, it was the longest 15 minutes of his life. Not so, jokes fellow “guido” Pauly DelVecchio, who says it was more like a half hour of fame.

What began three years ago as yet another MTV reality show became one of the network’s biggest hits, drawing as many as eight million viewers.

The show’s last season was again shot in Seaside Heights. But it finds the cast at very different places in their lives: “Snooky” is six months pregnant and engaged, Deena Cortese has dropped several pounds and gained a boyfriend, and “The Situation” has vowed to stay sober.
