The husband of a New Jersey woman missing since New Year’s Eve has been charged with her murder.

Investigators say 28-year-old Kyle Crosby was arrested Monday after a traffic stop and a foot pursuit. Authorities said they found items of “evidential value” in connection with his wife’s disappearance, but didn’t elaborate.

Crosby’s wife, Erica Crippen, has been missing since New Year’s Eve and her body hasn’t been found. Crippen lived with Crosby in Mount Laurel and with her 7-year-old daughter and the couple’s infant daughter.

Police responded to the residence for a wellness check last week after the older child didn’t report to school. Crosby signed a missing person report that day.
