Hostess workers strike in Philadelphia

    Hostess workers at plants across the country went on strike Friday.

     

     

    According to ABC6 they object to the company’s decision to cut wages, pensions and benefits.

    Workers from a plant in Maine have come down to Philadelphia to picket at the Hostess plant at Grant and Blue Grass Road in the Northeast. Philadelphia workers have been told not to cross the picket line, and so far they have abided by the request.

    Hostess filed for bankruptcy protection in January.
