Greene Street Friends grads urged to remember ‘small school’ that helped them grow [gallery]
Jessie Smith, who is part of the Greene Street Friends School’s Class of 1987, had a simple message when he spoke at Friday night’s graduation ceremony in Germantown.
“When you make it big,” he told eighth graders moving onto high school, “remember that small school that made you that succesful and wonderful person that you are.”
Shortly thereafter, 17 eighth graders became GSFS graduates. NewsWorks was on hand at the Meeting House to commemorate the event in photos.
