On Friday, residents of Wesley Enhanced Living at Stapeley in Germantown prepared and donated some 400 Thanksgiving meals for Our Lady of Hope Parish’s holiday supper.
A Sunday bulletin for Our Lady of Hope, a Roman Catholic Church located on the 5200 block of N. Broad St. in Ogontz, noted that holiday meals will also be distributed to the needy on Tuesday.
“The retirement community’s culinary team, along with volunteer residents [worked together on Friday afternoon] to prep the ‘turkeys from heaven’ and all of the fixings for the Thanksgiving supper,” a release from Wesley Enhanced Living stated.
