Garces will oversee food, drinks at Atlantic City pier
Philadelphia-based developer Bart Blatstein has chosen managers for the food and musical offerings at The Playground, the oceanfront Atlantic City pier he is redeveloping.

Garces Events, with celebrity chef Jose Garces, will provide food and beverage offerings for all the restaurants at T Street, one portion of the pier.
Bonfire Entertainment from Philadelphia will bring in acts from virtually every music and entertainment genre for the seven venues at T Street, located on the pier’s first floor.
The Playground is the new name for what used to be The Pier Shops at Caesars. It’s slated to open June 26.
