Future of old West Philly High building up for discussion at meeting

What should happen with the old West Philadelphia High School building?

The School District of Philadelphia has two offers to convert the site into residential and retail space, but the neighborhood will get a chance to weigh in first.A meeting is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at the current West Philly High building at 49th and Chestnut streets to give the public a chance to provide input on the sale. The West Philadelphia building is one of several the district is trying to sell. Others include an old administrative building in Queen Village and the former Willard Elementary School in Kensington.
