Flooding possible in parts of central New Jersey

Rain and melting snow could cause some flooding in parts of central New Jersey.

A flood watch is in effect from noon Wednesday through Thursday afternoon in Camden, Gloucester, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, western Monmouth, northwest Burlington, Salem and Somerset counties.

Forecasters say minor to moderate river flooding is likely Wednesday night and Thursday across the Raritan and Passaic river basins. The extent of the flooding will depend on the rainfall.
