State Rep. Stephen Kinsey and Ogontz Avenue Redevelopment Corporation CEO Jack Kitchen told NewsWorks Thursday night that hosting a Night Market event in Germantown should be possible within two years.

Already scheduled to meet with various Northwest Philadelphia community development corporations in August, Kinsey said launching an effort to host Night Market in Germantown will be part of that conversation.

If possible, Kinsey would like to begin putting together a team to get the street fair in Germantown by next summer.

He said he will work with OARC and Mt. Airy USA to learn more about the processes involved planning and hosting the event.
